Moore Market Intelligence specializes in providing competitive intelligence tools to the insurance industry, particularly the indexed life and annuity markets. Ms. Moore provides competitive intelligence, market research, product development, consulting services and insight to select financial services companies.
Prior to forming Moore Market Intelligence, Ms. Moore was the manager of a competitive intelligence unit for a multi-line global insurer. In addition, she gained an intimate knowledge of indexed products and markets as the Market Research Analyst in charge of competitive intelligence for both life and annuity lines of business with an insurer that was #1 in both indexed life and indexed annuity sales.
She is co-author of The Encyclopedia to Index Products: Annuity and Life. Her research and articles are regularly featured in over 20 different insurance trade publications and resources including Annuity News, Best’s Review, The Des Moines Register, Insurance News Net, Investment News, The New York Times, Senior Market Advisor, and The Wall Street Journal. She has worked closely with the media as a fact-checking resource on life insurance and annuities and spent five years correcting every misleading or inaccurate article published on indexed products.
Ms. Moore also works closely with regulators. Her research is regularly presented to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners Conference, to aid in their understanding of indexed products. She serves as a resource to regulators on issues such as insurance distribution, marketing, product development, and training. She actively participates in the rule-making process for life insurance and annuity products, and her research has been presented to Congress to lead industry efforts in thwarting the securities regulation of indexed insurance products.
