The more you know:
The Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association Model Act (as of the latest version, dated the first quarter of 2018) includes a ban on using the existence of guaranty association coverage in inducing the sale of insurance.
This is why you cannot talk about the guaranty fund, when trying to sell life insurance or an annuity. -sjm
