World’s Tallest Known Elected Official to Lead NAIC in 2025

Members of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners elected Jon Godfread, the North Dakota insurance commissioner, to be their 2025 president Tuesday at a meeting in Denver.
Godfread was first elected to the North Dakota commissioner post in 2016. He won reelection this year without facing an opponent in the primary or in the general election.

(He may also be the tallest public official to-date.)
