Long term care insurance: get it.

My Dad is 68.
He is a Navy vet.
His Dad died after a long fight with Alzheimer’s.
Today I found out that my Dad now has it too.
Dad is being transferred to a nursing home, as we speak. He has no long term care insurance.
Seventy percent of adults who survive to age 65 develop severe Long Term Services and Support needs before they die, and 48% receive some paid Long Term Care over their lifetime.
