Annuities offer “income that will last. Optional income riders can guarantee payments in retirement.”
You can get income that will last via annuitization as well. Sometimes bypassing an income rider for annuitization is in the clients’ best interests.
And “no sequence of returns risk?”
What if the client earns 0% in the early years of the contract?
