The first thing about fixed index annuities is that no two are the same – the insurance companies don’t want to create a standardized product where they have to compete with each other on price.

Wink’s Moore on the Market: guess Allan Roth isn’t familiar with the fact that there are indexed annuities that guarantee their caps/pars/spreads for the duration of the surrender charge period.
That said, the author is not wrong.
This “blog” looks a lot like clickbait. I’d love to educate the author of the blog about these other annuities, but won’t hold my breath that he responds to the email I sent him. -sjm
