PlanEasy Launches Online Distribution of Annuities

Wink CEO Sheryl Moore pointed out that annuities that are sold directly to consumers represent only a small sliver of the overall annuity market, representing just 0.4% of deferred annuity sales in the fourth quarter of 2022. Moore said that eight insurers offer annuities direct to the consumer — Clear Spring Life (through the agency Gainbridge,) Fidelity, MassMutual (via Blueprint Income,) Nationwide, Prudential, Puritan Life (through Canvas,) Security Benefit Life and RiverSource (through Ameriprise.)
