There is still a lot of work we need to do!

I still remember getting the state of Iowa to be the first to proclaim June as Annuity Awareness Month.

Feels like quite a bit has been accomplished in the eight years since then.

We had legislation passed to put annuities in retirement plans.

We have developed annuities for an entirely new distribution of fee-based and fee-only planners.

We not only see less negative press, but actually come across positive media about annuities!

But there is still a lot of work we need to do.

I like to do impromptu market research where I ask people “if I told you about a retirement instrument that could guarantee a return of your money, plus interest, and promise you a paycheck for the rest of your life, would you be interested?”

I ALWAYS get a resounding “YES,” and pleas to tell people more.

Imagine how many more Americans would be informed about annuities if all of us did the same.
