Junior Achievement
May 2, 2023 by Sheryl J. Moore
For many years, I have had members of my team at Wink, Inc. volunteering for Junior Achievement USA.
This organization offers “proven lessons in financial literacy, work and career readiness, and entrepreneurship [which] are shown to positively impact the lives of young people.”
Why?
“Research shows that Junior Achievement Alumni are more likely to have a college degree, feel confident managing money, have career success, and have started a business as an adult.”
That’s a positive outcome for everyone that has the opportunity to participate in this program, which is both fun AND educational!
Way to go, preparing kids for financial success Rita Holtz, Victoria Grossman, and Cathy Andrews!
SN: Many insurers such as Jackson, Sammons, Global Atlantic, Principal, Voya, and Athene to name a few, have supported this nonprofit in some capacity, in addition to F&G, as seen below with their signage in JA BizTown at Junior Achievement of Central Iowa. Cool! -sjm
