MassMutual’s Stable Voyage Was Quarter’s Top Fixed-Rate Annuity

The product helped make the Springfield, Mass.-based carrier the top fixed-rate annuity seller over the period with a market share of 16%, Wink’s Sales & Market Report said.

Quarterly and yearly sales of fixed-rate products were the highest since Wink began keeping tracking in 2015, the report said. “Margins may be down, but rates and sales are up,” said Sheryl Moore, CEO of Wink, publisher of Wink’s Sales & Market Report, in a news release.
