Annuity Primary Product Objective?

I am thinking of taking every annuity in the AnnuitySpecs database, and assigning a “Primary Product Objective” to it.

This is because of the industry’s recent trend of classifying annuities as being either for “accumulation” or “income.”

That said, I do not want to overlook anything. So, I need to hear from my marketers!!

Do you see any other “Primary Product Objective” for annuities, outside of accumulation or income?

I appreciate your help!
