DPL launches referral program to match advisors with annuity-seeking investors
RIA-focused insurance platform responds to inbound inquiries from individuals about commission-free solutions for income, protection
LOUISVILLE, KY, Nov. 3, 2021- DPL Financial Partners (“DPL”), the leading insurance platform for registered investment advisors (“RIAs”), today announced the launch of a new program to refer individual investors with questions about insurance products to advisors in its network. The initiative grew out of the groundswell of people contacting the firm looking to learn more about commission-free annuities and other insurance products.
“Demand for annuity products from individual investors has never been higher and, increasingly, they are becoming aware of commission-free solutions,” said DPL Founder and CEO David Lau. “They read about DPL in the media and reach out to us to access these products. When they see the value of our solutions, it creates a foundation of trust and they want to know how else we can help them. It was natural to connect them with advisors in our member network who can bring them the annuity as well as manage the rest of their assets. It’s a win for both the individual and the advisor.”
Under the program, DPL will ask interested investors a few basic questions about the kind of advice they are interested in and their location and then match them with a fiduciary advisor who can help. Advisors in DPL’s nationwide network can apply to participate through their DPL Consultant.
