Top 20 RIA Wealth Management Firms of 2021

RIA Database has announced its ranking of the top 100 wealth managers in the U.S.

Researchers ranked firms based on total assets under management as reported on their form ADV part I as of Sept. 30. They used several criteria to qualify RIAs as wealth management firms. These included firms that predominantly serve high-net-worth family offices and high- and non-high-net-worth individuals.

They excluded pure asset managers, hedge funds, institutional firms and broker-dealers, as well as firms with regulatory or criminal ADV disclosures.

RIA Database reports each firm’s ETF assets for informational purposes only; these were aggregated from 13F filing data as of Sept. 30.
