Cartoon Characters: Why Advisors Are Creating Explainer Videos

While the country was obsessed last year with the pandemic and the presidential election, financial advisor Ben Hockema turned himself into a cartoon character. To generate interest from prospects, Hockema commissioned an animated explainer video to showcase his practice. In the 90-second production, which can be seen on YouTube, a bearded avatar of Hockema appears, helping a Sharpie-drawn couple navigate financial uncertainty.
