Inspiring Women of Iowa award finalists announced

Sixteen finalists in four categories for the annual Inspiring Women of Iowa award have been announced. The event, whose proceeds benefit the Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa, honors women of courage, confidence and character as well as people who make up the communities that support them. Courage Award finalists are Chelsea Krause, Sheryl Moore, Krista Tedrow and Karla Walsh. Confidence Award finalists are Katherine Harrington, Manisha Paudel, Olivia Samples and Amy Strutt. Character Award finalists are Nora Crosthwaite, Erin Huiatt, Molly Lopez and Tricia Rivas. Finalists for the Inspiring Advocate for Women award are Jen Carruthers, Erik Dominguez, Erica Douglas and Lydia Wolken. Finalists will be honored at a hybrid event on May 14 at noon.
