Ameriprise FA to Head Financial Planning Association’s NexGen Group

The Financial Planning Association says it has appointed an Ameriprise financial advisor to head the association’s community of new financial planning professionals.

Joey Stemmle is the 2021 president of FPA NexGen, which has more than 3,500 members, effective January 1, the association says. In his new role, Stemmle will work with the 11-member FPA NexGen Leadership Committee to lead the community of CFPs in the early stages of their careers, the FPA says.
