Des Moines metro’s Principal Global and Athene on list of top money management employers

Two metro Des Moines companies rank near the top among the nation’s largest money management firms as places to work, a national business publication says.

Pensions & Investments, a twice-monthly newspaper that covers the industry, ranked Principal Global Investors, part of Des Moines-based Principal Financial, in fifth place. Principal Global has made the annual list every year since its 2012 launch.
