New York Life appears to be getting ready to roll out a new annuity that has a little of something for everyone.

Variable annuities have offered individual subaccounts that perform like an indexed annuity for many years, said Sheryl Moore, CEO of Moore Market Intelligence, in an email. What makes IndexFlex interesting is that New York Life avoided indexed annuities for years, “and now they are trying to offer indexed annuities via their variable offering.”
