June 2, 2020 by Alex Padalka
John HancockRetirement says it added new features to help advisors better serve retirement plan clients digitally in the wake of the Covid-19 crisis.
The company has introduced two new tools. One is Onboarding Resource Center, which provides access to enrollment materials, demos, presentations and participant education flyers, among other features. Another is Plan Manager, which John Hancock says automates servicing each 401(k) plan remotely via automatic scheduling, and provides access to a library of educational content and enhanced capabilities for managing meetings and reminders, according to a press release from the company.
Both of the new tools are available on John Hancock Retirement’s Open Architecture and Signature plans, the company says.
