PORTLAND, Ore.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Standard Insurance Company (“The Standard”) announced today that Christopher Beaulieu has been promoted to vice president of Individual Annuities and Fixed Income.

Beaulieu joined The Standard in 2015 as assistant vice president of Investments where he has been leading an investment team responsible for fixed income investments in public markets. In his new role, Beaulieu will add responsibility for the Individual Annuities product line including individual annuity sales, marketing, actuarial, operations and administrative teams.

Beaulieu has more than 15 years of enterprise investment portfolio management experience. Before coming to The Standard, Beaulieu served as head of corporate portfolio management for Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company. In that capacity, Beaulieu was a primary driver of an asset allocation strategy aligned with organizational total return and asset/liability matching objectives.
