NAIC Executive Committee To Meet Feb. 13 On Annuity Sales Rule

The NAIC Executive Committee and Plenary will hold a joint meeting on Thursday, Feb. 13 and could vote to adopt new annuity sales rules.

The meeting is scheduled for approximately 45 minutes and is open to the public, an NAIC news alert said.

Executive Committee and Plenary adoption is the final step before the updated Suitability in Annuity Transactions Model Regulation is sent to the states for consideration.
