LANSING – Lansing-based insurance company Jackson National Life entered an agreement with India-based Tech Mahindra to provide technology support, the company announced through a statement it provided to the Lansing State Journal on Monday.
The statement indicated that some Lansing-based employees have been hired by Tech Mahindra.
“Although Tech Mahindra’s global headquarters are based out of India, Lansing associates who have been offered employment with Tech Mahindra will remain in Lansing with a benefit and compensation package substantially similar to what they currently have,” the statement read. “We do not disclose details of our business operations related to the specific number of impacted associates.”
Patrick Rich, director of external communications for Jackson, declined to state if the company’s agreement with Tech Mahindra resulted in layoffs.
