Finra Warns of New Phishing Scam

Finra has put out an alert warning of a phishing email targeting its member firms.
Several brokerage firms have told the industry’s self-regulator that they have received suspicious emails aimed at their compliance staff, Finra says.
The email appears to come from a compliance officer at a legitimate credit union based in Indiana, alerting the firms about possible money-laundering activities by one of their purported clients, according to the regulator.
