Wink’s New and Improved AnnuitySpecs

Introducing…the NEW and IMPROVED AnnuitySpecs tool!
Don’t freak-out when you log-in. Basically, everything has changed. Again, remain calm. Rest assured that the Wink staff is here to help you.
First, we added Structured Annuities (also known as collared annuities, buffered annuities, indexed variable annuities, etc.) as well as traditional Variable Annuities (VAs) to AnnuitySpecs.

You will note that while there are several companies’ VAs on AnnuitySpecs at launch, we will be adding more products to the site on a daily basis.
- We just had to rush to get this exciting new enhancement out-the-door and in your hands. 😉
The second big change is our NEW Advanced Product Rates page. It will be very different, but pretty self-explanatory. While much of the functionality works like our prior Product Rates page, this new page is waaayyyy better.

The third big change is that Product Specs had to be redesigned, in order to accommodate VAs. As a result, products have their own specs, as do strategies/subaccounts, and riders have their own specs as well! You can even see specs for riders that are no longer available for sale now too.

The fourth modification to the system is in the Product Search; not a ton of changes there, but had to accommodate VA.

Note, however, that side-by-side product comparisons will have their own menu at the top of the site. You can compare products or riders (even if they are no longer available for sale!), and put them in the order you want.
