Financial Fiduciary Certification Setting a New Standard of Excellence
June 25, 2018 by The National Association of Certified Financial Fiduciaries
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
[CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 25, 2018—]: The National Association of Certified Financial Fiduciaries (NACFF), an insurance/financial training organization, announced a new series of classes designed to officially validate financial advisors and insurance agents.
This designation, known as Certified Financial Fiduciary (CFF)®, is reserved for those professionals who have successfully completed a rigorous certification and training process established by NACFF and The American Financial Education Alliance (AFEA). CFFs agree to uphold the highest moral, ethical and fiduciary standards of service when providing advice to potential and existing clients.
“Consumers are demanding that their advisor maintain a fiduciary standard. It’s no longer enough to say you are fiduciary; you have to prove it,” says Rick McClanahan, founder of NACFF.
NACFF was created to help advisors achieve the designation by providing all the information, tools and resources financial professionals require to ensure they are compliant with fiduciary standards. Advisors are required to attend a one-day, live training, which includes a 100-question exam, before they are awarded the CFF designation.
“We are setting a new standard of excellence in the field. Advisors are recognizing the necessity of this certification, so we are holding classes all over the country to meet demand,” McClanahan says.
Financial professionals who have earned the CFF designation can immediately and clearly demonstrate their expert knowledge in the field, as well as offer their clients reassurance that they follow a code of conduct that holds them to the highest standards of professionalism in the financial services industry.
McClanahan continues, “It really is a competitive edge. When it comes to establishing trust and credibility with your clients, it’s a game changer.”
