How Lincoln, Erie, John Hancock Leverage Life Insurance Awareness Month

This month marks the 15th annual Life Insurance Awareness Month (LIAM), a consumer educational campaign created by Life Happens, nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness around the importance of life insurance.
Carriers leverage LIAM each year in their quest to educate the public on why life insurance is imperative to the financial protection a family in the event of the death of a spouse. According to Life Happens, 54% of Americans would have trouble paying living expenses immediately or within months if the family’s primary wage-earner died. This year is no exception. Lincoln Financial Group, Erie Insurance Group and John Hancock Insurance are a few carriers that have created communication strategies to align with LIAM and the campaign’s message.
