A new study highlights Allianz, AXA, MassMutual and MetLife as carriers on the cutting edge in the insurtech space.

The World Insurance Report 2017, published by consulting, technology and outsourcing services provider Capgemini and Efma, a global non-profit organization for insurers and banks, reveals that insurtech firms are increasingly crucial to carriers’ digital innovation initiatives. Among other programs, the report highlights the carriers’ efforts in launching in-house incubators (MetLife), venture capital initiatives (Allianz and MassMutual) and carrier-insurtech partnerships (AXA).
