Top Selling Indexed ULs of All Time, 2016

We began tracking the individual product sales of indexed universal life (IUL) products in the second quarter of 2008.  We recently updated our annual “Top Selling Indexed ULs of All Time” chart to reflect IUL sales through 2016.

Minnesota Life’s Eclipse Indexed Life has the title of the “Top Selling IUL of All Time” with a total of $488 million in IUL target premium. Transamerica Premier Life’s Transamerica Financial Foundation IUL moved into second place for overall IUL target premium.  AXA, Accordia Life, and Life Insurance Company of the Southwest round out the top 5 of best-selling IUL products of all time.

Please Note: Indexed life sales include target premiums for universal products, full premiums for whole life products, and 10% of single premiums for true single premium life designs.
