Industry Veteran Scott Stone Set to Lead the Charge as Managing Partner
Horsham, PA – March 1, 2016 – Bolstering growth efforts over recent years, The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company (Penn Mutual) has announced an office opening in Kansas City, MO. Slated to open March 1, the agency will be overseen by Scott Stone, who has 25 years of experience in the industry.
The Kansas City office launch comes on the heels of another move made by the Fortune 1,000 company this year – the opening of an agency in Birmingham, Alabama.
Under the guidance of Stone, Penn Mutual’s Missouri agency will be responsible for providing financial planning and insurance services to prospects and clients within the Kansas City area.
Bill Stevens, vice president, career agency distribution at Penn Mutual, offers that efforts to grow in the Midwest will be an opportunity not only for the company, but for Stone to showcase Penn Mutual’s values and dedication to clients. “Scott is very aligned with Penn Mutual’s core values,” he says. “His experience and skill set will be instrumental in expanding our brand across the Midwest.”
Stone, a native to Kansas City, comes to Penn Mutual from Prudential Financial, where he headed life sales in the Northeast region. His wife, Kimberly, an advisor as well, will be assisting Stone with opening the agency and helping to build the organization.
