January 27, 2016 by Maxwell Murphy
Phoenix Cos., an insurance company based in Hartford, Conn., said Ernest McNeill Jr. will become finance chief when its merger with closelyheld Nassau Reinsurance Group Holdings LP is complete, which is expected to be early this year. Mr. McNeill will succeed Bonnie Malley, who Phoenix said will leave at that time to take a position with the city of Hartford. Compensation information for Mr. McNeill wasn’t disclosed. Ms. Malley received 2014 compensation valued at $1.6 million, including a salary of $385,000, bonuses of $388,461 and equity awards valued at $125,961, according to its most recent proxy filing.
Willis Lease Finance Corp., a Novato, Calif., lessor of aircraft engines and aircraft, said Brad Forsyth will resign as CFO effective Feb. 18, citing personal reasons. Between Mr. Forsyth’s departure and the conclusion of the company’s search for a permanent replacement, his duties will be divided among existing personnel and the company said it will use temporary assistance as needed. Mr. Forsyth received 2014 compensation valued at $597,095, including a salary of $361,250, equity awards valued at $202,600 and an $18,000 bonus, according to its proxy.
