Penn Mutual CEO Receives Recognition for Leadership and Accomplishments
Horsham, Pa. – December 14, 2015 – Eileen McDonnell, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company (Penn Mutual), recently made history along Philadelphia’s Independence Mall.
Last month, The American College of Financial Services held its annual black-tie President’s Dinner at the National Constitution Center, where McDonnell was presented the 2015 Huebner Gold Medal. McDonnell is now the 70th recipient of this prestigious award, which recognizes those who have been instrumental in moving the industry forward.
The award, named for Dr. Solomon S. Huebner, founder of The American College, is a direct reflection of McDonnell’s leadership and accomplishments within the financial services industry.
McDonnell’s support of The College and its programs, and advocacy for continuing education are just a couple reasons why she was recognized with this award.
“To be honored with the Huebner Award is the pinnacle of my career in the financial services industry,” said McDonnell.
“It was wonderful to be in a room filled with so many influential and accomplished industry leaders who share my passion for education and support continued education within our industry. I was humbled to be chosen for this year’s award and am honored to be in the company of the 69 recipients who held it before me.”
