WELLESLEY, Mass. (September 28, 2015) – Delaware Life Insurance Company has added a new offering to its fixed index annuity lineup. Delaware Life Retirement Stages 7SM Fixed Index Annuity is designed to give more conservative, retirement-focused customers principal protection and upside potential. To provide diversification and options for a variety of market conditions, Retirement Stages 7SMhas a range of choices for earning interest, including two Deutsche Bank-sponsored indexes, an S&P 500® Index and a Fixed Account.
Retirement Stages 7SM gives investors a range of features and benefits designed to help accumulate retirement assets without fear of market loss. Annuity buyers can add an optional withdrawal benefit (available for an additional cost) that provides an increasing (“stacked”) Benefit Base and guaranteed lifetime income payments. There is also an optional Return of Premium rider (available for an additional cost) that allows the annuity owner to surrender the contract at any time prior to the annuity date—without surrender charges—and receive at least 100% of the premiums paid (minus applicable prior withdrawals).
“A primary goal of many people today is to build assets to live on when they retire, but also to protect their savings from market and economic risks,” said Tom Seitz, Head of Distribution. “Delaware Life’s fixed index annuities offer the best of both worlds, with the potential to earn interest from market gains, but with a guarantee against principal loss.”
Retirement Stages 7SM is available exclusively through a select group of distribution partners, in approved states. For more information and product details, please visit http://www.delawarelife.com.
