Tom Anfuso Appointed Senior Vice President & CIO at National Life Group

Montpelier, Vermont – August 26, 2014 – National Life Group has appointed Tom Anfuso as a senior vice president and chief information officer.
Anfuso oversees all information technology operations for the company, as well as overall IT strategy.
“Tom is a seasoned IT professional with strong business acumen and deep industry experience,” said Mehran Assadi, president and chief executive officer of National Life Group. “He brings a strong mix of leadership skills, business experience and strategic thinking to National Life Group.”
Prior to joining National Life Group, Anfuso spent eight years in a variety of IT leadership positions at USAA, most recently as vice president of enterprise and infrastructure systems. Prior to that, he held IT leadership positions with Bloomberg in New York and several consulting firms. He started his career in technical roles at Oracle and IBM in California.
Anfuso holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Carnegie Mellon University and a master’s in writing from the University of San Francisco.
