MetLife to pay $23 million settlement over faxed pitches

MetLife gets the award for using the most antiquated of technology to sell life insurance. It also gets a $23 million judgement for doing so.
The insurance giant has agreed to pay the sum to resolve class-action litigation that accused an agent of the firm of improperly blasting life insurance pitches via fax machine.
Some salesmen will try anything.
