MetLife Taps Former Bain & Co. Executive as Chief Enterprise Strategy Officer

NEW YORK – MetLife Inc. said it has hired Rebecca Tadikonda as its chief enterprise strategy officer, effective July 21.
She succeeds Kishore Ponnavolu, who is now president of MetLife Auto & Home.
Tadikonda will report to Steven A. Kandarian, chairman, president and chief executive officer of MetLife.
“An aligned, integrated enterprise strategy is essential to creating value for customers and shareholders,” Kandarian said in a statement. “With her extensive experience advising financial services firms, Rebecca will play a critical role in helping MetLife continually adapt to a changing external environment.”
Tadikonda was most recently a partner in the financial services practice of Bain & Co., where she counseled insurance clients on large business transformations, global growth strategies, customer experience and operational excellence. She has also held positions at Verisign and DHL Worldwide Express, MetLife said.
