FBL Names Wasilewski Operating Chief at Life Business

FBL Financial Group Inc. (FFG), the Iowa-based seller of fixed-indexed annuities, appointed Raymond Wasilewski as the third chief operating officer of the life business this year.

Wasilewski was previously chief administrative officer, the West Des Moines-based company said in a statement today. He replaces John D. Currier, who stepped down for personal reasons, Kathleen Till Stange, a spokeswoman for the insurer, said in a phone interview. Currier had been named in January to replace Richard Kypta as operating chief of the life operation.
