Top-notch coaching both in and out of the office

Wink’s VP, Victoria Peterson, is a top-notch coach both in and out of the office. Peterson coached the Grandview Little League Bomberettes; the Wink-sponsored softball team made up of girls, ages 13-16, from around the Des Moines metro area, this summer.

The Bomberettes finished the season with a 16-20 record and Coach Peterson was given the opportunity to lead the Junior Girls GVLL AllStar team! Having a recent state title under their belts, Peterson and the GVLL AllStar softball team are headed to Akron, Ohio for the Regional Tournament August 1st-6th.
Congratulations to Coach Peterson and team for earning the state title and we wish them the best of luck at Regionals!
Our Wink team congratulates Coach Peterson and we believe this is an incredible opportunity for her girls to play at an advanced level. “I had the chance to play at this level when I was 12 and these are some of the memories that I cherish most about my childhood. For these girls, this is just the beginning of their journey to the Little League World Series!” commented Coach Peterson.
The softball league is run on a 100% volunteer and donation basis. The GVLL AllStar team is raising money for this great group of girls and their families to travel and stay for the upcoming tournament.
