Insurers threaten widows with legal action over annuities

Annuity news from the UK keeps getting worse. According to an article in The Guardian, widows are under attack by some of Britain’s biggest annuity providers. It seems any lag time on payments after a spouse’s death is being pounced on in a failure to let the widows grieve.
