The Bank Insurance & Securities Association named Jeff Hartney as executive director, effective July 7, according to a press release from the association.

Hartney comes to BISA from Arroweye Solutions, a technology company for the payment card industry, where he was vice president, market development. His career also includes 10 years as a managing director at the Bank Administration Institute, where he led the BAI Research sales organization, which provides syndicated strategic research and benchmarking solutions for the top 50 US banks.
“Jeff’s professional experience—in particular the combination of executive roles in financial services and association management—make him uniquely qualified to lead BISA,” said Dan Overbey, BISA president, in the press release. “The board of directors is confident that there is no better person to guide BISA’s efforts to enhance business intelligence and decision making, and we’re excited to begin working with him.”
Hartney’s appointment comes at a time of major growth for BISA. The group’s revenue has increased 25% during the past three years, according to the press release.
