Symetra, Crump Life team up on life insurance, annuity sales

Symetra Investment Services has formed a strategic partnership with Crump Life Insurance for the sale of life insurance and annuities.
“Our new partnership with Crump supports SIS’s strategy of aligning with leading firms to deliver a robust platform of insurance, investment and advisory services to help our advisors grow and protect their practices,” said Richard Moran, president of Symetra, based in Bellevue, Wash. “By teaming with Crump, we’re providing our advisors an operationally efficient and scalable way to access a broad array of products designed to meet their clients’ retirement income and estate-planning needs.”
Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
With the deal, Crump will support the distribution of traditional and variable life, long-term care, disability and annuity products with sales and back-office support services. Symetra will have access to Crump’s website, product training, case design and processing and underwriting support.
Symetra Investment Services is a broker-dealer and registered investment advisor subsidiary of Symetra Financial Corp., a diversified financial services company.
Crump Life Insurance Services, based in Roseland, N.J., is the largest wholesale distributor of life insurance in the U.S., linking a national network of about 200,000 financial services professionals with the products from 100 companies.
