Zurich Names Chief Underwriting Officer in North America

Zurich has appointed Sabrina Hart as chief underwriting officer for global corporate in North America.
Hart succeeds Paul Horgan, who is relocating to Switzerland to become global head of group reinsurance. She will continue to be located in New York, Zurich said in a statement.
Hart returned to the United States in August, 2011 to serve as the chief operating officer for global corporate in North America, following an assignment in Switzerland as head of risk operations within group risk management. There, she was responsible for driving Zurich’s operational risk and control activities.
Hart, who joined Zurich in 1997 as regional manager of the health care group in the Southeast region for Zurich North America commercial, had served as chief underwriting officer for Zurich North America commercial’s specialty products business.
Most Zurich Financial companies have current Best’s Financial Strength Ratings of A+ (Superior).
