Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America, Minneapolis, has named Jasmine Jirele as senior vice president of Enterprise Operations. In this role, Jirele will be responsible for leading operational and service processes, including new business, in-force, operations controls, contact center, and related supporting functions. Allianz says Jirele will also lead the company’s Policy Administration Solution (PAS) project, the company’s Operational Excellence initiative.
The Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment, Washington, D.C., announced that Michelle Clayman, managing partner and chief investment officer of New Amsterdam Partners, has joined US SIF’s board of directors. Clayman will fill the board chair position vacated by Cliff Rosenthal, CEO of the National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions. Clayman serves on the board of directors of the Society of Quantitative Analysts and the Institute for Quantitative Research in Finance. He also is active on the Asset Manager Code of Conduct Committee of the CFA Institute.
Lincoln Financial Distributors, the Philadelphia-based wholesale distribution subsidiary of Lincoln Financial Group (NYSE:LNC), announced that Richard Aneser has joined the organization as chief marketing officer. Aneser will manage strategic marketing initiatives for Lincoln’s portfolio of insurance and retirement products offered through financial advisors, institutions, insurance brokerages and consultants in the U.S. He will report directly to LFD President and CEO Will Fuller.
Mutual of Omaha, Omaha, Neb. has appointed John Corrieri as vice president of the company’s 401(k) product and distribution. In his new role, Corrieri will oversee development of the company retirement product offerings for 401(k) advisors and plan sponsors in the small to mid-size markets.
The National Association for Fixed Annuities, Milwaukee, has elected Heather Gierstorf, an assistant vice president of agent compliance at American Equity Investment Life Insurance Company, as the NAFA Education Committee Chairman, succeeding Co-Chairs Chip Anderson and Steve Phillips, both of Creative Marketing. Gierstorf, an active Education Committee member since 2009, is responsible for overseeing and implementing internal and external advertising review, product training, and general agent compliance issues at American Equity.
Transamerica Employee Benefits, Milwaukee, has hired Scott Borden, Richard Kendrick and Dan Loveless as regional vice presidents of sales. They will report to Brad Ridnour, TEB’s senior vice president and national sales director. Borden will manage TEB’s sales base in southern Georgia and Mississippi.
As sales leader for the Southwest region, which includes Nevada and parts of southern California, Kendrick will oversee relationships within the consulting, brokerage and benefits community. Loveless joins Transamerica’s Northwest region, which covers parts of Idaho, Oregon and Washington.
