Fidelity & Guaranty Life Appoints Robert Kelson as National Accounts Vice President

BALTIMORE, MD – August 8, 2011 — Fidelity & Guaranty Life is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Kelson to the position of National Accounts Vice President, Annuity Distribution. In this role Bob will connect with many of the company’s long established relationships and key distribution partners to foster production for Fidelity and Guaranty Life Insurance Company’s annuity products nationwide.
Bob joins Fidelity & Guaranty Life from Sun Life Financial Distributors where, most recently, he served as Relationship Manager Life/Annuities in Boston, MA.
During his tenure at Sun Life, Bob worked with internal and external teams to develop and deliver product and sales training, and focused on maximizing profitability for the company and its distribution partners. While serving as a Director, National Accounts at Sun Life, Bob achieved top ranking in overall annuity sales from 2006 to 2008.

Bob holds FINRA Series 6, 7 and 63 licenses as well as Massachusetts Life, Accident & Health. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts.
