Allianz Life Names Pete Hartley Director of Financial Reporting

Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America announced that it named Pete Hartley as the new director of Financial Reporting.
According to a release, in this role, Hartley will be responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting of IFRS financial results to parent company Allianz SE and Statutory results to management and regulators. Additionally, Hartley is responsible for annual GAAP reporting and additional regulatory reporting to various states.
“Pete has been an important part of the Finance team at Allianz Life for more than eight years, so we’re thrilled that he has accepted this new role,” said Niki Scanlon, VP and Controller for Allianz Life. “Financial excellence is a cornerstone of our business so it’s imperative that we have people like Pete helping to ensure we meet our goals.”
Most recently, Hartley served as Financial Manager for Allianz Life, responsible for managing monthly analysis and processes. Prior to that, Hartley held positions including Principal Accountant and Senior Accountant. Hartley joined Allianz Life in 2003 as a Senior Financial Analyst.
