National Life Group Introduces Lifetime Income Option on Indexed Universal Life (IUL) Products
January 6, 2011 by Jenna Simanskas
Montpelier, VT – January 5, 2011 – National Life Group member companies, National Life Insurance Company and Life Insurance Company of the Southwest, introduce the Lifetime Income Benefit Rider (LIBR) – the only lifetime income option on top performing Indexed Universal Life (IUL) products in the industry.
National Life Group provides death benefit protection, valuable living benefits through Accelerated Benefit Riders and now, a revolutionary lifetime income option with LIBR, which can provide policy owners with a guaranteed stream of income for life.
“This new option changes the face of life insurance,” explains Matt DeSantos, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for National Life Group. “It gives clients more than just death benefit protection, allowing them to meet their multiple needs with one solution.” Once certain conditions have been met, and the rider is exercised, the policy owner will receive an income stream for life – money they cannot outlive. Conditions include but are not limited to the insured’s attained age being between age 60 and 85, and that the policy has been in force at least 15 years. Insufficient policy values or outstanding policy loans may also restrict exercising the rider.
