Securian Announces 2 New Directors in Individual Life Manufacturing Unit

ST. PAUL, Minn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Chris Owens was named national sales director, Individual Life Insurance, for Minnesota Life Insurance Company, a subsidiary of Securian Financial Group, Inc.
Owens joined Securian as a management services assistant analyst in 1999 and moved to the individual annuity unit in 2000. Most recently, he was manager of the individual annuity internal sales desk. In his new role, which he assumes September 1, all external individual life wholesalers and the manager of the internal sales desk will report to Owens.
Andrea Mack became director, Life Product Promotions July 1. Mack joined Securian’s asset management company, Advantus Capital Management, 12 years ago in the shareholder services area and moved to the Individual Financial Security business unit in 2001. Mack now leads the individual life marketing, research and case design teams. She and Owens will carry additional responsibilities as members of the Life Product Manufacturing leadership team. Both will report to Bob Ehren, senior vice president, Life Product Manufacturing, Securian Financial Group.
