Allianz Life Promotes Andy Mattson to Director of Program Management

MINNEAPOLIS–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America (Allianz) today named Andy Mattson as the new director of Program Management. In this role, Mattson will be responsible for overall delivery and management of the Allianz Policy Administration Program and associated projects. He will also be responsible for providing project delivery and management consultation to the Product Innovation department.
“Andy has made significant contributions to the product development process at Allianz,” said Cathy Mahone, senior vice president of Enterprise Operations for Allianz Life. “His leadership ability is an asset to our team and we look forward to his contributions in this new role.”
Mattson joined Allianz in 2008 as a Project Manager, responsible for project management and delivery of Variable product development across the enterprise. Prior to joining Allianz, Mattson was with several IT service firms, including The Willow Group, as a Project Delivery Director, and Keane as a Project Delivery Manager.
Mattson earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin Stout and holds a Project Management Professional certification.
