Hohmann Takes “Interim” Out Of FBL Title

James Hohmann is now the official chief executive officer of FBL Financial Group Inc. (NYSE:FBL)
Hohmann, 54, took over from James Noyce as interim CEO of FBL, West Des Moines, Iowa, back in April 2009, when Noyce left the company.
Hohmann previously was president of Allstate Financial, a unit of Allstate Corp., Northbrook, Ill. Hohmann also has been president of Conseco Inc., Carmel, Ind.
Hohmann has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Northwestern University and a master’s degree in business from the University of Chicago. He is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a past member of the board of the American Council of Life Insurers, Washington.
