FBL Financial Group Names Russell J. Wiltgen Chief Actuary

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa–(BUSINESS WIRE)–FBL Financial Group, Inc. (NYSE: FFG) announced today that Russell J. Wiltgen will join the company as Chief Actuary. In this new role, Wiltgen will be a member of the organization’s Management Team and have overall responsibility for actuarial matters and enterprise risk management. He will report directly to Chief Executive Officer James E. Hohmann.

.Wiltgen comes to FBL Financial Group with nearly 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Over the past 11 years, he has held product management positions at UNIFI Companies, most recently serving as Vice President-Individual Annuity Product Management.
Wiltgen holds a B.S. degree in actuarial science from the University of Iowa. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
